Note:

Leading up to the March 2011 rating list, the ACF fine tuned the rating system to improve predictive accuracy.

As usual with any systemic change, prior rating periods (all from December 2000 through to December 2010) were rerun.

One effect of the change was to increase the average rating of players by around 60 rating points.

The reasons for the change are set out more fully in the ACF March 2011 Ratings thread on the Chesschat forum.
